Welcome to Dr. Jaclyn Chang’s office! We’re an optometry clinic that listens to your needs to help you see your best. We’re committed to spending the time to check all aspects of your vision and ocular health, explaining the technical details. Using the latest technology, we provide high quality comprehensive eye exams to patients of all ages. Our clinic offers glasses, contact lenses, and eye drops to meet all your eye care needs in one place. While we opened our very own ground floor location in 2021, we have a long history in the St Clair community. Dr. Jaclyn Chang took over Dr. Edmund Eng’s optometry practice that served the St Clair community for over 17 years. In fact, his receptionist, Fatima, is still with us!
We love the St Clair and surrounding area and are happy to be providing quality care to Hillcrest Village, and the Humewood, Wychwood, and Cedarvale area. We are accessible by TTC and there is street parking in the area.
MEET
DR. JACLYN CHANG
Optometrist & Practice Owner
Dr. Jaclyn Chang graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences before continuing on at Waterloo to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree. She is the recipient of the Canadian Association of Optometrists Award of Merit for her leadership contributions and the Alcon Scholarship for Research in Contact Lens Care for her work at the Centre for Ocular Research and Education. Dr. Chang has interned at the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma where she was able to gain experience in treating a wide variety of ocular diseases.
Dr. Chang took over Dr. Edmund Eng’s practice in 2019 after he retired from 17 years serving the St. Clair community and over 38 years in practice. She is excited to meet all of Dr. Eng’s patients and welcome new patients to the practice.
Extraordinary Experiences
Dr. Chang has had the privilege of volunteering her optometric skills in Dar es salaam, Tanzania and Kingston, Jamaica.
